We’ve invested in high-end record cleaning machines, brushes, fluids & brand new inner sleeve covers so you don’t have to! Our process is capable of cleaning seven inch, ten inch and twelve inch records. We use a special fluid for cleaning older, 78 RPM shellac records.
Everyone who values their record collection knows that records need to be maintained in a clean condition in order to sound their best and to preserve the quality of their fragile surfaces. Over time, dirt, nicotine, dust and mold can bind to the record surface and cause damage which can result in a poor listening experience. These pollutants prevent music lovers from hearing all the music on the record (regardless of the quality of the playback system), and can cause wear of the record and phono stylus.
A thorough deep cleaning greatly improves the listening experience and helps produce the highest quality transfer to CD or MP3 files by eradicating dirt causing pops and cracks. Records that have been in storage can build up mold and other sound degrading contaminants which are also removed in our cleaning process.
New records should be cleaned before the first use as well. New records often have small amounts of residue or even plastic remnants left from the impact of the stampers in the pressing process. Deep cleaning new records will ensure years of ‘pop & crack-free’ listening.

Each album is unique as to how dirty it is. We evaluate the condition of each record and use a cleaning process we feel will deliver the best result. We employ both hand and machine washing, rinsing, vacuuming, air drying and dry brushing. The cleaning fluids we use are 100% biodegradable and specifically formulated for cleaning vinyl albums.
We wear gloves to ensure fingerprints and related skin oils do not soil your records. And, lastly, we package your record in a brand new inner sleeve to keep it clean and static free.
Pleae note however, that our professional record cleaning service cannot and will not restore or otherwise improve scratches or other damage that may exist on the record surface.
